This is the same T-shirt Kendrick Lamar wore at the Grammy Awards. The front print is inspired by Kendrick Lamar’s masterpiece “HUMBLE.”, where Jesus, crowned with thorns, strikes down a black-robed skull representing evil/Satan, symbolizing faith overcoming evil and justice defeating darkness. It’s a concrete expression of the Christian “spiritual battle,” reinterpreting the power of faith through the hardcore street form of boxing. In the battles of life, faith is your armor and weapon, encouraging us to face difficulties and overcome fear, perfectly embodying the “spirit of resistance” in street culture. The back print reads “FIND FAITH IN THE.” The “BATTLE” logo, featuring a boxing glove pattern, directly echoes the boxing theme of the previous design, highlighting the core idea: true faith isn’t a slogan in good times, but the strength to persevere through adversity, battle, and struggle. It combines faith with life’s struggles and street spirit, encouraging people to be supported by faith and never give up in the “battles” of life.

The garment employs a ready-to-wear dyeing process combined with stonewashing/enzyme washing. First, the garment is dyed a base gray, then stonewashing, enzyme treatment, and dyeing processes create a faded, bleached, and distressed effect on the fabric surface. This results in an uneven gray tone, with lighter areas (such as the collar, cuffs, and seams) simulating the natural wear and tear of long-term wear and washing, maximizing the retro feel and giving it a vintage quality that grows more appealing with wear. This series of washing processes also makes the fabric softer and more comfortable to the touch, eliminating the roughness of new fabric and significantly improving its cotton-like feel and skin-friendliness.

The cuffs and hem feature a single-stitch top and bottom seam technique, with the inner layer finished with an overlock sewing machine to prevent fraying. This ensures durability while showcasing the clear single stitch, enhancing the vintage, handcrafted feel.

The entire garment employs a multi-position hand-cutting technique, creating numerous irregular holes on the body, cuffs, collar, and hem. This time-consuming and labor-intensive process ensures that each hand-cut hole is slightly different, making each garment unique. The edges of the holes retain a raw, frayed effect without overlocking. Some holes have been lightly stretched/brushed to create a more natural edge, avoiding harsh cuts and simulating the vintage feel of long-term wear and tear, reinforcing the punk visual language of “worn-out and rebellious.”
